Updates on Murray Library’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic
Health & Safety
The library was closed with the safety of the community in mind. We continue to have safety and health at the forefront of all of our plans as we strive to bring the library back to the public. Here’s a look at how we are doing it:
Library visits are limited to appointment only. Reservations are limited in to 2 people per party.
Murray Library requires that everyone, staff and patrons included, wear a suitable face covering at all times while inside the building. This requirement is based on CDC recommendations and help protect all staff and patrons. Wearing a face covering does not replace the need to practice social distancing.
Items returned to the library will be quarantined for one week before being put back into circulation. It will take a few extra days see returns come off your account. Thank you for your patience! Computers and related hardware are cleaned directly after each use
Social distancing guidelines are in place throughout the library. Floor decals and signs help promote social distancing and updates on available library services.
Desks and tables are spaced throughout the library to provide suitable social distancing.
